Cutting wheel (APIO® and Penett®)
MDI’s cutting wheels are characterized by their high quality and long service life. In addition to the conventional carbide or diamond cutting wheels, we also offer our proven Penett® and APIO® cutting wheels.
Our APIO® wheels are true all-rounders and achieve very high quality and edge strength in conventional glass cutting processes, regardless of the glass type. The formation of chipping when placing the wheel and at crossing points is prevented by the special grinding.
Holder and axles
MDI’s cutting wheel holders are available in a wide variety of designs and in a large selection. They are closely geared to customer requirements and can also be used without any problems in systems from other manufacturers.
Our axes made of carbide or diamond are the perfect complement to the MDI cutting wheels and holders, as they are optimally matched in terms of quality and service life.
Holder and holder connections & Mrcs® (pre-assembled sets): our holders are available in standard and precision versions. Of course, we also offer Holder Joints for the use of our cutting tools on equipment from other manufacturers.
Mitsuboshi glass cutter
Manual glass cutters from MDI are multifunctional and of high quality. They are available with all types of wheels including Penett® and MicroPenett® and are suitable for making both straight cuts and cutting contours.

Linear cutter
